Noboru Ishiguro confirms live-action Yamato in development
Noboru Ishiguro, director of the Space Battleship Yamato television anime series, has confirmed at his focus panel at Otakon on Saturday that a live-action version of Yamato is in development.

Just watched the Yamato Revival anime movie from last year... I thought I heard it wasn't that good.... but Jesus Christ this movie was awesome (only complaint was the ok 3D for the space battles)
Highly recommended

I stand by my original statement: "This should have been an automatic buy for me, but man, this was was just so relentlessly corny that it was too much for even me." |
