Just watched it up here in Mtl. Every bit as cool as I remember it being! I totally love how it scales up astronomically. In episode 1 it's a high-school drama with robots and by episode 6...

I want to see DieBuster now, even though I know it's totally different.

Yeah, I'm stoked for DieBuster.
I already know that I cannot compare it to GunBuster, so I think it will be good on its own merits.
1st DVD in May, 2nd in June, 3rd in July

Georgio, you recommended this anime to me in a haze of alcohol, and man, were you right. I just finished watching the series and it TOTALLY KICKED MY ASS !!!
Outstanding ! Definately top 5 anime contender, but I think that it has to be the number one anime that I've seen when it comes to the science/technical aspect.
