Went with some changes in the colors of skin this time, getting even more away from the kinda brownish hue everything had way back in the first couple of strips. With all the anime speedlines and effects I tend to use I think it's gonna be better.
Also found a better way to shade that I was using before, using more big "who gives a fuck" sweeping motions and fatter brushes. All and all I'd say a positive step for the art.
The Wizard is awesome, I can't believe it only came out on DVD last year. Califorrrrnia....
Sept 22...Keroro Gunsou finally on DVD!
Jet Flyin', Limo Ridin', Kiss Stealin', Wheelin' Dealin' Son of a Gun
I seemed to remember that the Power Glove used in the movie was different than the 'real' one, but after a little sleuthing, I found out that the one in the movie was the real one, but there were early ads that featured a slightly different design, without the plus control.
Basically it was this movie from 1989 that was pretty much one long Nintendo commercial. The big unveil in it was Super Mario 3 which probably would have been new when they were filming but was already out for months by the time it came out.
Ah the Power Glove, amazing how it could be such a crap device to use but still be so damn cool.
I've been thinking about trying to integrate a Wiimote into my power glove. I figure it would give me fifteen minutes of net fame maybe. (Or at least I could try to make a bunch of money off of banner ads or something)
Speaking of The Wizard, see my avatar? That's me flipping off a T-rex outside of Palm Springs where they filmed the dinosaur scene.
