I just finished Death Note. I started Wednesday night and finished, well, now. 37 episodes. Quite a run.
Without any spoilers, I have kinda mixed feelings about it. At first I was amazed by it and the whole idea of the game of cat and mouse being played out every episode. Then the show takes a bit of a turn from what I thought made it so great and starts to come up a little short.
Which would have been fine if the show ended the way I would have liked but it didn't. All in all:
-Amazing first 26 eps. If they woulda ended at 25 with the fallout from 26 tacked on, it's a 9/10 show in my book. -Slightly less interesting 10 episodes at the end -Ending goes out with a whimper instead of a bang
There was some stuff that absolutely rocked my face. I still put it pretty high on my recommendation list, just not at the absolute top.
