I'm glad, Funimation kicks ass and has probably been my favorite all-around anime company for the last few years. They've done a really good job I think.
SGT Frog at Funimation makes me very happy. RE-DUB PLEASE!!!
edit: No wonder ADV went under, they're like the kings of mediocrity if that list was the pick of the anime litter. Seriously, that list has like 3 sort of hot shows, then the rest is just a total blahfest!

It sounds more like the name ADV is dead and now is a buncha different smaller companies or something. Hopefully they get their act together, stop pretending the anime market is the same as it was a decade ago and do something useful with their licenses.
On the topic of anime companies being behind (not ADV realted necessarily!), I was (and am still planning to I guess...) picking up the rest of Code Geass on DVD. It occurred to me though how foolish it is to blow like $60 a pop on 3 box sets on DVD when I've got way better high def versions on my PC. It's like paying for a downgrade.
Actually, ADV's been split up as a bunch of different companies for a while now (since the first round of troubles, roughly). What they did just now is create a bunch of new companies (registered under the lawyer's name) and then sell the assets of the old companies to the new ones, leaving the old companies with nothing but debt. They even "re-hired" all the same staff. So basically nothing changed, except I have a hard time believing you can really do that and get away with it. We'll see how this plays out...
